Agreement and scope
These Terms govern your use of paperperhour.com, app.paperperhour.com, and related Paper Per Hour services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Paper Per Hour helps users organize study materials and create AI-assisted outputs such as grounded answers, summaries, flashcards, practice tests, and focused study sessions. Features, usage limits, availability, and supported file types may change as the Service develops.
We do not promise that AI output is complete, current, or error-free. You are responsible for checking important information against reliable sources.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old, or meet the higher minimum age required where you live, and have legal capacity to agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
Provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
Acceptable use and academic integrity
You may use Paper Per Hour for lawful learning, research, revision, and personal study support. You must follow the rules of your school, university, employer, or examination body.
You may not use the Service to cheat, impersonate another person, submit prohibited AI-generated work as your own, facilitate academic misconduct, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, distribute malware, bypass security or usage limits, scrape the Service, or interfere with other users.
Your materials and permissions
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Paper Per Hour a limited license to host, copy, index, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process the content. Do not submit confidential, unlawfully obtained, infringing, or sensitive third-party information.
AI-generated output
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use output produced for your account for personal study. Similar output may be generated for other users, and output may contain errors or reflect limitations in the materials provided.
Do not rely on the Service for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other professional decisions. Source references help verification but do not remove your responsibility to review the underlying material.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Some features may require a paid plan, credits, or subscription. Prices, taxes, renewal frequency, limits, and billing terms will be shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically when disclosed at checkout until cancelled.
You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the selected payment method. You may cancel renewal through available account settings or support channels. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Ownership of the Service
Paper Per Hour and its licensors own the Service, software, branding, interface, templates, and related intellectual property. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Third-party services
The Service may rely on or link to third-party providers, including hosting, payment, analytics, and AI services. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services outside our control.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address security risks, non-payment, legal requirements, abuse, or a material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted or that every output will be accurate. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Paper Per Hour will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from reliance on AI output, unauthorized uploads, academic penalties, or third-party services.
Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or business practices. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable channels. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Paper Per Hour operator, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your location. Before bringing a formal claim, please contact support so the parties can try to resolve the issue informally.
