Each and every leader has strengths and weaknesses. President Obama is a charismatic leader whose strengths has enabled him to effectively lead the United Nations. One of the key strengths of President Obama is good public and communication skills. President Barrack Obama is a very powerful motivational speaker and is able to move the crowd by sharing his vision of change and a better United States. President Obama is a gifted speaker who is able to communicate and teach people in business and politics regardless of the audience differences.

President Obama also has good decision-making skills and he is able to make a sound judgment. He was able to appoint strong-minded opinionated cabinet members to help him in making sound and rational decisions. President Obama decision good decision-making skills have enabled him to keep the country away from depression and at the same time improve the healthcare system. His decisions to attack Osama, end war with Iraq were successful. President Obama also decided to use successful economic pressure rather than engage the military with Russia.

President Obama is also a good listener and always keep his ears open to get information that is important to help him make a decision. He listens to what his cabinet members, cabinet members and the opposition and other great leaders have to say before making a judgment. Obama is able to work with different people to realize the vision of change.

Every leader has a weakness and Obama is not exceptional either. At times President Obama is arrogant. He exemplifies arrogance when he feels that someone is trying to sabotage his ideologies. Obama is a quiet type president and is weak on executive experience. At times Barrack Obama is not best when it comes to making impromptu speeches. However, this is minor weaknesses and President Obama is a strong powerful leader and manager.

The Ethical Issue during the Obama Regime

Even though Obama leadership is a success story. President Obama faced some ethical concerns. For instance, the Solyndra scandal that has raised eyebrows on political favoritism (McAdams, 2014). Solyndra, a solar energy company went bankrupt after being given questionable loans by the White House under the Obama Regime. This concept as exposed to how political contributions can affect government policy.

A person can go to an institution to learn about management, however, leadership is natural but can be improved through enhancement of one’s leadership styles through experience to become a very effective leader (Tyssen & Spieth, 2013). Therefore, Barrack Obama should focus on ways to improve his weaknesses and become an even more powerful leader.

Therefore, Obama should focus on improving and reducing his arrogance. His quietness has made other leaders to view him as a weak person. President Obama should also learn to balance power, business, family, and friendship to build a strong relationship with people. Finally, President Obama should focus on reducing ethical concerns that may make his character questionable as a leader.

To conclude, the success of an organization is dependent on good leadership. Leaders are very important as they assist in coming up with a powerful vision, share and motivate people to work towards gaining that vision. Barack Obama is a powerful leader who utilizes a transformational leadership style to help the United States to achieve its vision.
