- Use transitions that listeners can hear
- Close by returning to the central message
Write for the ear
Prefer short sentences, concrete language, and natural rhythm. Read every draft aloud.
Rehearse deliberately
Practice timing, pauses, eye contact, and difficult transitions rather than memorizing every word.
